"Unto you is born . . . a Savior who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11 This week we are learning that because of sin, we need a Savior!  God loved the world so much that He gave His Son to save us from the punishment of our sins.

Each day we practice writing our names.  Our friends celebrate each other's success and it is so fun to see!

We read this great book this morning that celebrates the unique gifts and talents that God has given us!

After morning meeting went outside.

Back inside we learned this song to the tune of Jingle Bells.  Feel free to sing this at home with your child too.

During free choice work time we practiced recognizing shapes and developed our spatial relationship skills.

We also practiced counting and recognizing the corresponding number.  We strengthened our fine motor skills as we clipped the number on the tree.

Working on Christmas town

We used "good junk" to create too!

We practiced using scissors with Mrs. Dieckamp.

We re-enacted the story of
Jesus' birth with our wooden Nativity Scene.

We worked on an instrument puzzle.

We also wrote Christmas books and cards!

We had a fantastic field trip!  A huge thank you to our awesome music teacher, Mrs. Eberhard, for teaching us so much!
