This morning, after our morning routines, we observed my guitar.  We looked carefully at the details in the guitar and discussed the shapes that we saw.

"I see that circle in the middle!"

"The top looks like a rectangle!"

We discussed what lines we would use to draw the guitar.

"You need some straight lines and then some wiggly lines for the bottom!"

"How many strings are on it?"

We counted the strings and saw that there were six!

We then went outside and enjoyed the warmer weather!

Back inside we read a book about Jesus' birth!

During free choice work time we did an observational drawing of my guitar.

Some friends worked together to complete our instrument puzzle.

We worked with the pattern blocks too!

"It's time for music!"

We then wrote Christmas cards!

We then wrapped a top secret project!  You will find out at Christmas.  ;)

After lunch we went to the outdoor classroom.
