Happy Friday! 

We had an exciting morning!  As we were walking to our classroom from the gym, our power went out!  We thank God for the emergency lights we have around the building.  As we were walking we sang"Jesus says I'm with you" to remind ourselves that even though it is darker and a bit different, Jesus is with us! 

After our morning routines we went outside! 

After the playground we took out the bikes and scooters.  We also played with the balls in the grass! 

Shortly after we came back inside, the power came back on!  Praise God! 

Once the power came back on one of the friends looked around and said, "Everyone say PRAISE GOD!"  

I wish I could capture every moment like that in our classroom!  

After snack we went to work making cards, wrapping our boxes for Christmas town, counting the ornaments on the Christmas trees, and exploring the pattern blocks. 

After lunch we went out to the hill. 

A church member, Mr. Bailey, stopped by and asked if we would like to put the new fish in the pond.   The friends were very excited!  

We did a countdown and released the fish! 

There they go!  We will be checking the pond throughout the year to see if we can see the fish!
