Welcome back!  I pray that you had a nice Thanksgiving.

This morning we made a list of all of the ways we want to celebrate Christmas in our classroom.

We are thankful for our rain boots!  We were able to run outside even with the wet ground.

We go outside early in our day.  Please always send a hat a gloves with your child.  Thank you!

During small group time we practiced working together in the blocks.

I encourage you to role play at home with your child.
Ask your child, "What should you do if you want something that someone else has?"

You can:
"Ask, "how many minutes until my turn?"

"Ask, "Can I have a turn?"

Practice makes permanent!

The friends enjoyed the new Christmas books!

We practiced recognizing numbers and counting as we decorated a Christmas tree with Ms. Marks.

One of the friends wanted to add stockings to our list of Christmas classroom celebrations.  So during small group time we made stockings.  The friends discussed where we should hang the stockings.

"I think we should put them in the block area."

"Yeah!  Then we can see them from over here too!"

Free choice time

The friends decorated their stockings.

Some of the friends made Christmas cards!
