Pastor Lepley led our chapel today.  He shared with us how Jesus saved us from the yuck of our sin! 

After chapel we went to the library with our 8th grade buddies.  

We checked out books today too! 

Outside time 

Back in the classroom the friends made Christmas cards for loved ones. This was a great time to engage in meaningful writing practice. 

The creation station was busy with gift making and wrapping.  

The friends made classroom decorations as well.  With adult supervision and support, they were allowed to use the stapler. 

"You have to push so hard!" 

Once it was complete, the friends put it on the tree. 

"I want to make another one!" 

The friends cut strips of paper to make another one.
