Happy National Lutheran School's Week!

Every morning this week we will begin our day with a short devotion in the sanctuary.

Pastor Lepley and his twin, Mr. Kyle Borcherding, led devotions this morning.

After gym time our expert visitor, Jim Mourer, came and helped us learn about carpentry!

He showed us how to use nuts and bolts.

We also helped him fix the cross for the contemporary service!

Don't forget the penny wars this week!  Our collection jug can be found down the hallway near the middle school classrooms.

Today we also had special reading time with our chapel buddies!

Back in the classroom we took what we have learned and put it to use!

The friends wrote ideas of things that they want to build.

Then they wrote a plan and a small scale model!

"Let's make the frame of the house."

Taking care of the babies

"I made a guitar."

Today we did another self portrait.  Look for these hanging in the hallway later this week.  :)
