This morning one of the friends was so excited to share and talk about a special outfit from Mexico!

During chapel the middle schoolers acted out the Christmas story.

After chapel, we took pictures for our Christmas program next week! These pictures will be used during the Bible readings during our program.

We were so excited to see what is in the jingle bell!

The friends carefully, and with much supervision, were able to use tools to open the jingle bells to see what is inside.

"When the little ball is gone, it doesn't jingle!"

Free choice time

The friends engaged in many deep, rich play scenarios during free choice time.  The friends learn so much during these play scenarios!  Language skills, social skills, and executive function skills are a few that are strengthened within deep, rich play scenarios.

When children are engaged in such play scenarios, you will notice them assigning roles.

"You be the baby and I will be the sister."

You also notice children planning their play.

"Pretend that we had to jump over a river."

Afternoon free choice
