"Unto you is born a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11 

Today in Jesus time we learned that because of sin, we need a Savior.  God loved the world so much that He gave HIs Son to save us from the punishment of our sins.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can share the good news of our Savior's birth with others. 

Outside time 

Outdoor classroom explorations 

During small group time we went to the church to practice for our program tomorrow night! 

During free choice time we wrapped our top secret project.  The friends are excited for them! 

Making books 

After rest we have started a new thing to capitalize on our friends' interest in words and writing.  The friends each draw a "story of their day" and label it.  God created each friend unique so success for each friend is also unique.  Examples of success are  writing letter like forms,  letters, beginning sounds, or phonetic spelling.
