Today we reviewed the true story of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea.  With God, nothing is impossible!

Look how our friends help each other! The ability to see someone's else's need and offer to help is a skill that the friends will use to show God's love throughout their lives.

Outside time

Now that it is cooler, please be sure to dress your child in a warm coat.  We go outside at 8:45 am and it is still quite chilly at this time.  Thank you!

Outdoor classroom

During small group time we graphed how we want to carve our pumpkin.  We also learned the Spanish word for pumpkin - calabaza!

The friends created in the creation station as well.

With Mrs. Dohrman, the friends practiced tracking print as they recited the Five Little Pumpkins poem.

Free choice time

"I am going to make a pumpkin in the play dough.  Wait - how do you say pumpkin in Spanish again?"

Building with the magnetic tiles.  The friends have to use many social skills to work tougher as they build.  They practice asking for a turn.  They practice waiting.  They also practice collaborating to make a structure together!

Selling apples

Some of the friends made their own phones!  They practiced writing numbers and letters for their phones.

One of the friends was reading a book to a friend over her phone!

This afternoon we enjoyed the nice weather outside.
