This morning we learned the true story of Moses as a baby.  You can find it in Exodus 2:1-10.  We learned that sometimes bad things happen and we don't know what do to.  However, God has good plans for us!  He gave us salvation through Jesus, His Son.

Outside time

Looking for bugs

During small group time the friends practiced cooperation and collaboration as they worked together to complete a large puzzle.

We worked on our All Saint's Fest project too. (All Saint's Fest is our annual auction - you don't want to miss it! Tickets are on sale now.)

With me, the friends practiced rhyming.

Free choice time

We love reading!  When you are at home, point out words with your child.  As you read books with your child, draw his/her attention to the words.  Point out the spaces in between the words too!

Some of the friends practiced number recognition and increased spatial relationship skills as they completed a sticker by number activity.

We strengthen our fine motor skills by pulling corn off of dried cobs.

During afternoon meeting we sang silly songs to practice rhyming.  I encourage you to rhyme at home with your child too.  It's okay at this age to make up "pretend" words; we are just focused on the rhyming ability at this age.  :)

This afternoon we enjoyed the beautiful weather outside.
