During chapel today, Mr. Marquardt shared with us how we can show God's love by helping people who feel lonely.

Outside time

On the way to the outdoor classroom we noticed some ants eating a dead bug.

"Yeah!  Ants EAT bugs!"

Then, we saw a spider web on the sign and noticed that the spider was still on the web! We also noticed some insects wrapped up on the web.  We remembered that spiders catch and eat bugs by wrapping them in their web.

During small group time we autographed some oven mitts to go with our recipe book for All Saint's Fest.  (Don't forget to buy your tickets!)

We also discussed if any other bugs have symmetry.

With Mrs. Dorhman, the friends practiced letter formation and recognition by writing in shaving cream!

Free choice time

The friends were so responsible today!  They cleaned up so quickly that we had time for a dance party!

Second free choice time

While working on a grasshopper rendering, the friends couldn't decide how long the legs were.

We took out one of our grasshoppers that has died and observed it closely.
