Happy Birthday Adam!  We are so thankful that God brought you into our class! 

During Jesus time this morning we reviewed our favorite bible stories from the year.  We discussed that all of the stories are true in the Bible.  Some people don't believe that the Bible is truth, but we know the truth. 

Outside time 

We enjoyed Adam's birthday snack outside! 

Then we practiced the bird show in our classroom.  :)

Mrs. Douglas: "Can you put a label on your picture so I don't forget?" 

Student: "Sure!" 

Over the summer I encourage you to look for meaningful ways, such as the event listed above, to incorporate letters and writing with your child.  

"I made paper boots!" 

This afternoon one of the Indy 500 princesses came and read us a book.  She attended Our Shepherd when she was younger. What a fun experience for us! :)

Before going to the playground, we checked on the baby birds in the nest in the grill outside.

Outside time 

We also looked over the area where next year we will have an early childhood outdoor classroom.  We are so thankful for all of the great things that God is doing here at Our Shepherd!
