During chapel this morning Mr. Mark Borcherding shared with us about Jesus' ascension to heaven.  After His ascension Jesus gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Although we can not see Him, we know He is here!  We pray that we can focus on Christ and His goodness when things become difficult. 

Outside time 

During small group time we continued to make nests out of good junk. We added some new "good junk" today to extend our creative thinking. 

With Mrs. Dohrman, the friends practiced identifying numbers and counting with one to one correspondence with Cheerios and pipe cleaners. 

The friends used letter tiles to write bird words that they found in bird books and name cards. 

With me, the friends continued to add information on the posters about the birds for our bird show.

Selling snacks at the bird show 

"I made a cross because Jesus died on the cross and rose again!"

During second small group time - we played a whole group game to practice number recognition.
