During Jesus time our puppet friend, Zippy, came to visit! We reviewed the story of Saul changing to Paul. We learned that sometimes we make bad choices, but Jesus forgives us!
During outside time we watched the second grade class release their butterflies. In second grade, they have been learning about life cycles too. We discussed the parallels to the life cycle of our chicks.
During small group time we went to the gym to practice the bird show!
Free choice time
Reading to your child is extremely important. One reason that reading with your child is important is because reading provides a meaningful context letters, which are an abstract concept.
