Happy Birthday Shaylee!  We are so thankful that God brought you to our class! 

Shaylee's chapel buddy's birthday is also today! 

During chapel we learned the history of many Christmas hymns, and then we sang them together! 

Gym time

During small group time we used glitter in the creation station.  We learned that to use glitter we have to use a tray, put glue on first, and shake sparingly.  We practiced important social skills too including waiting our turn, asking for a turn, and taking turns with the various colors of glitter. 

I worked with the friends one on one to work on various goals and skills. 

During morning meeting we read a big book!  Big books are a great way to draw children's attention to the written print as well as other valuable concepts of print.  The friends were so excited to see the spaces in between the words!

During small group time we worked on our individual nativity scenes.

We worked on identifying letters, sounds, and beginning sounds of words with Mrs. Lipsey.

Individually, the friends explored spatial relationships with the pattern blocks. 

I worked with the fiends one on one to work on various concepts and skills.
