During Jesus time we reviewed the true story of Jesus' birth.  We remembered that Jesus was born to be our Savior! We also practiced the songs for our Christmas concert.

Don't forget that our Christmas concert is Monday, December 18th at 6:30.  Please plan to drop your child off in our classroom at 6:15.

During small group time we strengthened our fine motor skills as we used stencils to make a star collage.

We also acted out the story of Jesus' birth!

With Mrs. Zwettler the friends practiced the songs for the Christmas concert.

With me, the fiends worked on a top secret project.  :)

One of the reasons that collaborative play is important because children must master the communication skills required to convey their ideas and consider the ideas of others. As adults, we do this when we have a discussion or work together.  In play, children are learning skills that will impact their lives.

During morning meeting we reviewed important social skills and role played how we can use them in the classroom.

Second outside time

During second small group time we continued to work on our top secret project.

We also worked to paint a stable with Mrs. Helmhamp.

We practiced our songs for the Christmas program with Mrs. Zwettler.
