During Jesus time we remembered that the reason Jesus was born was to save us from our sins. Through His death and resurrection, we have the best gift of all - the gift of salvation!
During small group time the friends continued to explore spatial relationships.
The friends practiced recognizing numbers, counting, and one to one correspondence.
They also practiced recognizing letters and their sounds to make words.
The friends were very interested in the snow outside. We capitalized on the children's interest and wrote down our thoughts and wonderings about the snow.
Gym time
The friends practiced valuable social skills as they waited for their turn with the glitter. They are practicing asking for a turn, waiting, and sharing the glue. These valuable skills will benefit the children throughout their lives!
The friends worked to write each other's names for their beautiful pictures! We practiced starting our letters at the top as we wrote. :)

During small group time we practiced the songs for our Christmas concert.
We identified letters and their sounds with Mrs. Lipsey.
We explored spatial relationships too!
We also finished our individual nativity scenes.
