This morning we joined the 1-8 graders for chapel to celebrate Mrs. Russell!  Her last day at Our Shepherd is Friday.  We are so excited for her family as they move to Georgia, but we will miss her very much!

Mr. Marquardt led our chapel.

After chapel, a representative from Lutherans for Life shared with us that two of our middle schoolers won the Life essay contest! Each friend has a replica 12 week old baby in their backpack.  There is a small card explaining a bit more about it that is in your child's backpack as well.  We thank and praise God for the precious gift of life!

We gave Mrs. Russell the card that we made for her and also gave her many hugs!

Out on the hill we noticed that our seeds began to sprout!

On the way into the building we were able to walk through some puddles.  It takes a large amount of self regulation (an important part of executive function) to not jump in the puddles.

We then practiced our balance!
