What an exciting day!  Our first animal visitor that was captured on camera! 

We went back to the list of animals that we thought we might see and circled deer!  The friends helped me remember how to find the word deer.  

"It has a D-D-D sound." 

"That's a D!"

We then were able to go to the outdoor classroom for a bit!  How exciting to find ice in the outdoor classroom.  

Back in the classroom we went to work! 

"I am writing the aniamals that have visted the creek." 

The friends noticed that the bridge is really falling down.  

"Maybe we should take it down."

"We could recycle the sides of it!"

"We could make a recycling center!"

"We could use the big box for a recycling truck!" 

"Yeah!"

"We need wheels for the truck!" 

"The trash comes out of the back."

"Someone can ride on the back while they pick it up.  I saw some guys do that before." 

During Jesus time we read the story of Jesus blessing the children.  We remember that Jesus always loves us and calls us to Him!  He saved us through His death and resurrection!
