Happy Crazy Hair Day!

This morning our friends had so many things to share with each other!  We took turns during morning meeting sharing stories and asking each other questions.  We practiced important social skills such as waiting our turn to speak, looking at the person who is speaking, and asking questions about the stories the friends tell.

We then went outside!

During work time we made a birthday card for Mr. Marquardt!
We delivered it and sang happy birthday to him.  We are very thankful that God brought Mr. Marquardt to Our Shepherd!

Many friends ate their apple to the core and found the apple seeds!

"We should plant these by the creek!"

"First we will need to get the shovel."

"What if the apples grow and fall into the creek?"

"If they fall in the creek then the deer can eat them!"

As we were headed out to the creek, we noticed so many goose footprints!

Then, the most exciting thing happened!  We saw three deer cross behind our bridge!

We found a spot in which to plant the apple seeds.

"We need to make a sign - apple tree growing."

"Yeah!  It should say be careful!"

The friends then stomped on the ground so the seed is safe.

As we were running back to our classroom the friends were excitedly sharing about the deer that we saw!

After rest time we went on a prayer walk!
