Welcome back for another great week of school!

This wee we are learning about Jesus as a young boy.  We will learn that Jesus is with us all the time! Our focus verse is from Joshua 1:9, "God is with you wherever you go." 

We went to the kindergarten room to practice our song for January 26th when we sing in church!  

We then went outside.  The friends looked for ice, but there was no ice to be found. 

"It is cold outside!  Why is there no ice?" 

Back in the classroom we read this funny book. 

At home ask your child to see if he/she can retell the story to you! 

During small group time we explored ice.  This provided a natural way for the friends to express curiosity and questions about ice.  We are exploring the possibility of beginning an Ice Project! 

The friends also wrote letters to Keontay who moved away.  

The friends practiced sorting letters and numbers with Mrs. Dieckamp. 

During free choice time the friends made a list of the items we need to make our dramatic play all about ice. 

The friends also continued to explore ice.
