Although it was a rainy day outside, we had a great day inside! 

After morning prayer and praise and morning meeting, we went to the gym!  

We worked to strengthen our core muscles and enjoyed playing with the basketballs and frisbees. 

Back in the classroom we had some excitement watching so many birds outside our classroom!  There were so many that we could hear them flapping their wings as they flew up together. 

During snack two second graders visited us.  They were completing a survey.  Our friends were very respectful while responding to the questions. 

During small group time we played Uno again.  This is a fun way to practice number recognition, matching (visual discrimination skills), social skills such as taking turns and waiting for a turn, and applying the tules of a game (executive function skills.) 

During free choice time we finished painting our Uno table. 

"I am making a sign for our Uno tournament." 

Other friends chose to apply creative thinking in the magnetic tiles.
