Happy Tuesday!

The friends enjoyed running and playing outside today.

Look at how we show God's love to each other!

The friends found a butterfly!  They wanted to take a closer look.

The outdoor classroom provides opportunities for exploration of the natural world.  The friends enjoy scooping the mulch and explore volume as they fill the buckets, bowls, and spoons.

The friends were so excited to see that a sunflower has bloomed in our garden!

During small group time, we continued our exploration of shapes and spatial relationships. We practiced identifying the shapes we used.  When you are at home, point out shapes in the natural environment with your child.  For example, "This tortilla chip looks like a triangle!" or "Your cereal is in the shape of a circle!"

We added words to our alphabet.  The friends chose a color and helped match the beginning letter of the word to the alphabet.

This afternoon the friends were interested in the changing weather.
