Welcome back to another great week of school!  This morning after morning meeting, the friends were excited to run and play in the gym! 

During small group time the friends worked collaboratively to complete rhyming puzzles. 

The friends also practiced writing their name and numbers.  

With me, the friends dictated all that they know about houses. 

After small group time we discussed how we want to celebrate what we have leaned.  One of the friends had an idea to make a house in our classroom with a foundation, walls, roof, and rooms.  We made a list of items that need to be completed.  During free choice time the friends went to work on the house in the classroom.

This was a great opportunity to engage in meaningful writing practice.

During Jesus time we learned the true story of Jesus visiting His friends Mary and Martha.  We learned that listening to Jesus is the most important thing we can do! 

After planning our play, the friends set to follow their plan.
