Prayer is a large part of our day! We pray all the time for any reason.  We are learning that we can always talk to God!
Thank you Ms. Kristie who snapped this precious picture of our friend praying.  :)

Although the afternoons are warmer, it is still below freezing when we go outside. Please remember to bring a hat and gloves for your child for the rest of the week.  Thank you!

During small group time we discussed our next project - plants!  The friends drew pictures of plants, shared what they already know about plants, and asked questions to guide our next project.

With Ms. Kristie, the friends exercised their creativity as they made a chef hat for our cooking day on Thursday.

During small group time we had a severe weather drill.  The friends did a great job!

Free choice time

The friends' play has deepened.  A few signs of deep, rich play include:

Planning play: "Pretend that the baby was crying because she was hungry."

Assigning Roles: "You be the mommy, and I will be the sister."

Collaboration: Multiple children in the same play scenario

As the children play they are also learning important executive function skills, language skills, and social skills!

During Jesus time the friends each had a turn to share what they have learned about Jesus this year!

"Jesus rose-d again!"

"Jesus loves us so much!"

"Jesus washes away our sins!"
