This morning we were able to go outside!  Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures.  We were all so excited to get some fresh air!

Yesterday, during morning meeting the friends wondered, "Do all windows have glass?" and "Do we need electricity for windows?"

Today we went on an exploration to answer those questions.  We observed many windows in our school.  We noticed that they are all made out of glass!  We also noticed that no windows had electricity.

"How can you tell there is no electricity in the window?"

"There's no plug!"

"There's no wires!"

The friends wrote down their observations.  Some friends chose to write check marks.  Some friends chose to make lines.  Some friends chose to write "yes" and "no."

We discussed the stained glass in our sanctuary.  Some of the friends wondered if it has electricity because it lights up.  We learned that the window lights up because of the sun!

Free choice time

During Jesus time our puppet friend Zippy came to visit.  I had a surprise for him!  Sadly, he was too busy and didn't give me time to tell him about the surprise.  He missed out!  When we are too busy to listen to Jesus, to worship, to pray, etc. we miss out too!  We remembered that God forgives us when we are too busy.  We prayed that He would enable us to put Him first in our lives!

After rest time we were able to see the Concordia University Seward wind symphony play!

Back in the classroom our friends were inspired to play instruments too!
