Happy Friday!

This morning we had a "tornado" and "volcano" in our class.  :)

The friends worked very hard at the train table.

We loved reading the new spider books!

Creating in the blocks is always fun!  Did you know that children are learning important foundational math skills as they create various structures in the block center?

Doug, Jordan's dad, was our library guest reader today.  He stayed during morning free choice to play with us!  Pre-K is fun for everyone!  :)

Thank you Doug for reading to our class today!

We checked out library books today too!  They will be due back next Friday.

We are thankful that the weather cleared up so that we could go outside!

We work to teach empathy in Pre-K.  Ezra fell on the playground, and he had many friends around him to give him hugs and check to see if he was okay.  Great job showing God's love friends!

During small group time, we went on a spider hunt outside!  Each friend was equipped with a clipboard and a pencil.

As soon as we went outside, we found a web!

We documented what we saw.

Spiders must want to go to Pre-K too because this spider literally jumped right into the jar!

We read the story of creation during Jesus time. We thank God for creating us and sending Jesus to be our Savior!

After lunch/goodbye and quiet time, the friends loved looking at our spiders!

Praise God for the nice weather for our outside time!

Second free choice time was full

Look at our giant train track!

During second small groups we played the rhyming Bingo game.

We also played the roll, count, and fill the cup game.
