This morning the friends were excited to return to playing tetherball together.  They worked to share, take turns, and speak in a kind voice to each other.

We harvested a few of the gourds in the outdoor classroom today!

Before small group time we looked for the hidden rainbow colors on the back of a CD.  We remember that rainbows remind us of God's promise to never flood the whole earth again.

We can be certain that God keeps His promises!

During small group time we worked on making letters with the wooden pieces.  We observed which letters have curves and which have straight lines.  We used the words big curve, small curve, big line, and little line to describe the lines needed to form the letters. We will use this same verbiage when we write letters. :)

Free choice time

We love exploring with the ramp!

Our friends are confident reading the two books we made in class!  I encourage you to continue to read those books at home with your child.  Model tracking the print from left to right as you read together.
