We had a great time exercising our large muscles on the playground this morning!

We then explored in the outdoor classroom!

During small group time, the friends explored seed packets.  Some friends chose to draw the picture on the packet.  Other friends chose to write the words.  Some friends chose to do both.  :)

With me, the friends continued exploring bulbs thanks to a friend who brought bulbs from her garden to share!

"Look at those roots! They are small."

"The bulb is like pink!"

The friends explored the bulbs and pulled the outer layers off to find a white bulb underneath!

"It looks like an onion!"

"Will it still grow if we plant it?"

We planted both of the bulbs to find out!

Independently, the friends played in the dramatic play.

During Jesus time we reviewed the true story of Jesus healing the Ten Lepers.  We learned that Jesus heals us too!  He heals us from our sin through His death and resurrection!

In the afternoon we went out to the gardens near the back of our property.  We observed the plants that grow from bulbs; just like the bulbs we observed yesterday and today! Mrs. Helmkamp's class gave us the garden tour.  They spent a lot of time in the garden in the Fall when they did their Seed Project.

We did our closing prayer outside today as well!
