This morning we were excited to go to the gym AND have some time outside! 

During small group time the friends continued to sort upper and lower case letters. 

They also explored counting, number recognition, one to one correspondence, and collaboration. 

The friends continued to work on their items to make our own house in our classroom. 

Free choice time  

Some friends chose to continue to work on their house items. 

"We need glitter for the refrigerator to make it clean and shiny." 

One of the friends was wondering how to make the handle of the sink move, so he explored the bathroom sink to help answer his questions.

Some of the friends wanted to label the items for the house too! This was a great opportunity to engage in meaningful writing practice! 

During Jesus time we reviewed the true story of Jesus blessing the children.  We learned that Jesus always welcomes us and He always loves us!
