This morning we noticed that some of the letters from our bible words of the week were missing!  We re-wrote the verse.  As we were writing, the friends became excited to see some letters that are in their names.

We took this excitement as a learning opportunity.  Each friend came and showed a letter in his / her name.  We sang, "The --- says ---" to help us learn the sounds of the letters.

We took a very brief walk outside.  As the weather is colder, would you help your child learn how to hang his / her coat independently?  I know it is easier to hang it up for your child, especially on late mornings, but it would help us greatly if all of the friends could hang their own coat.  Thank you!

After our walk, we went to the gym.

Free choice time

We love to read!

Exploring weight and numbers

Puzzle work helps the friends practice problem solving and engage in spatial reasoning.

"I have ten!"

"Welcome to the puppet show!"

"I made lots of O's!"

"If we put the rulers like this and move them quickly, we can make a bridge and they all will fall down!"

"Look at my new hat!"
