This morning friends started off the day by enjoying the beautiful weather outside.

Getting wiggles out with morning stretches.

During small groups, the class continued to create their own representation of a plant.  Friends also completed another sticker puzzle with a partner.  For the third group, friends practiced rhyming words by signing songs like "Willaby wallaby woo" and "Miss Mary Mack"

Friends loved  singing "Miss Mary Mack" so much that they decided to learn the hand motions to go along.

During free choice, some friends decided to retell the story of "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly".  They would take turns telling the story with the book and then acting it out with the Old Lady Puppet.  This is a great example of emergent literacy!

Exploring with the marbles during free choice.
