What a silly snowy day in April!

This morning we observed a daffodil flower.  We noticed the roots, the stem, and the shriveled flower.  We then compared the daffodil to a white iris flower that we have.  One of the observations that we made is that the roots are kinda smelly!

The friends were excited to paint flowers.

Other friends used letters to make flower words.

Some friends drew their observations of the two flowers.

"I'm writing notes about the flowers."

The friends then worked together to hang flower pictures up in our classroom.

The friends used their knowledge of letters, sounds, and writing to make labels for the pictures. of the flowers that they hung

The friends explored math concepts with the number tiles and loose parts!

After lunch we went to the gym!
