This morning Pastor Kyle Borcherding led chapel for us in the gym!

He shared the story from Luke 7:36-50 and shared that we can forgive each other because God freely forgvies us!

One part of our morning routines is reading books together on the carpet.  Although the friends are not reading conventionally, they are still making meaning from the illustrations and engaging in very important pre-reading skills.  They are readers!

We also love reading our own writings!

We read this book together as a class.  It brought up a rich discussion if seeds have ears.

"I don't think so. It's just a pretend story."

"Well if we write a story the seeds can have ears, but in seed in real life don't have ears."

We then headed to the hill after snack!

Back in the classroom the friend were interested in doing a puppet show.  I pulled out some puppets for them.  We noticed that our puppets were getting a little bit too crazy for our classroom!  We had to stop and make some rules for the puppets.  The friends worked to identify the problem and collaborate to find a solution.

"I know!  We can make puppets!"

After lunch we enjoyed going to the playground!
